Dear fans
I am writing you all a letter sent from the heart and also with a sad heart.
I lost my dad suddenly last March, my dad was my best friend, my hero and my mentor. Losing him has been a massive blow to myself and my family back in England and Norway.
This has lead to discussion with the club that will see me leave to spend some time with my family, give myself time to heal. Living away from my family on top of everything that has happened has increased the pressure on me. It is always so important at this level of football to give your best 24/7 to the players and fellow staff members.
They deserve the best and that’s how we go and win games.
So, I would just like to say to you the fans, amazing incredible fans who have taken me in and made me one of your own. I can tell you how proud I have been being part of the OFK family, trying the help the club continue on this amazing journey.
I have been involved in football for many years and you the fans of this fanatic club are another level. The support you gives us every day, every game is outstanding. When we don’t play well or we play well, play great you are the same, staying strong behind us and helping us always moving forward.
I place my hand on my heart and with pride say thank you for allowing me to be part of your history. I wish the you the fans, the club, the players, the staff and especially Ian my heart felt best for the rest of the season and the future.
Thank you all ❤️
Shaun Constable
